Guild team..?
If guildies won't take anything besides the current PvE meta then they're a waste of space.

New UW rewards
ive seen a couple threads about all the UW new rewards ie dhuum smite crawler minis and dhuums soul reaper. but i really think it would better help the community if all the new rewards were posted on this thread. thank you for your co-operation ((sorry for spelling))
EDIT: pics and discriptions would be appreciated

If people can't be bothered to search though a few threads then they don't deserve to see the new items. Period.

I remember Linsey saying that she'd love to do more deity zones, or somethink the like. I wonder whether this is the tradeoff between their willingness and their (limited) means.
EDIT: the ghost skills seem OP and clearly designed for the challenge.

Dervs can always take a guild Dervway http://pvx.wikia.com/wiki/Build:Team_-_General_Dervway
Rangers have been getting PuG's all night for splinter barrage.
Also, nerfing SF into oblivion is entirely unnecessary. IMO they're entirely unlikely to do what seems to be expected here because they'll most likely loose more players over it than is worth making a few people happy.
SF could be a lot worse - you're either locked into A/E or have to buy (and usually waste) tons of consets just to keep it up. The damage is incredibly sub par, even with the silly gimmicks. Personally, I don't want to think about doing DoA or Urgoz without one SF tank, warriors are fail tanks as a class design and dervs are not much better.
And as has been said, nerf SF into unusability and some other stupid gimmick build will come along just as easily.

Um... so if a player dies, they return as a ghost with a new skillbar in Forgotten Vale, as long as they didn't have 60% DP?
What happens to heroes when they die?

Well, that's cool, I guess....
I hope another UWSC comes along, I really hate how the UW quests are designed.

Yes. Prior to EotN that's what was used in DoA, all the time.
If you weren't in one of the four professions of 'balanced' you were SOL and JWF. Because balanced is a euphemism for Cookie Cutter in this game's community.

I'm in total agreement with this. Been around the block quite a few times in a variety of setups to beat the UW both before and after they added the Underworld Chest. I passed on SC's and really can't be bothered to clear for the umpteenth time to get a crack at this boss. Just my opinion of course but it would have been nice to avoid slogging through all these quests when a more elegant solution to his implementation was probably available. That's not to say I'm "work" averse just that I hate being forced to grind over stale old content to get to the new stuff. My suggestion would have been to give the Steward quest a more direct route leaving the full clear option on the table as a repeat if you want it.

A revised speed clear team is continuing to power through UW, and is also beating your new boss. Also, no skill balance.
You continue to let me down, ANet.

That's not even in the vicinity of a good trade-off, you know.

Cool, we can fight Dhuum now, inb4 shitty gimmicky bu-
Ooooh noooooo, it's already too late, what do you know.
Maybe it's time to really balance the game?
Also, I find it kind of ironic that the first new scythe dropped for a sf sin.

This whole discussion is pointless. PvE was ruined after introducing skills like Shadow Form, PvE skills, cons etc... Anet's not gonna change anything.
Yes it's pretty stupid but I guess anet wants to be stupid ><

The new UW content looks great. Can't wait to try it. Good job Anet.
